The Sweetest Family . . . needs your prayers and your support!

John and Julie Monday are great friends of mine. They are the most giving, sweetest people I have ever meet. I've had the pleasure of photographing their family since they started their cute family! John was admitted to the hospital Monday, January 6th with double pneumonia and both H1N1 and Type A of the flu. By Wednesday it was becoming harder to breath and his oxygen levels were low so he was put on a ventilator. Over the past week it has been a slow battle, but we pray and know that God can heal. As of today things are more positive, although it's a slow progression we praise God for the small victories. A few days ago John's kidneys weren't functioning as they should and he had to be put on dialysis, today the doctor came in and there was improvement and they were able to cancel dialysis. His ventilator has been lowered as well, so we are so thankful that things are steady and little improvements. WATE featured this family in a story a few nights ago and you can view that HERE. Julie is doing as best as can be expected at this point. She has a great group of family and friends around her at the hospital, helping and encouraging her. Again, there are two things you can do: 1) Continue to pray for John that God will do what He does best- amazing things! We know God is able and are praying Ephesians 3:20 over John. Continue to hope and not give up our praying. 2) You can still donate to the GoFundMe project that has been set up for the Mondays. This is a great way to help out, even if you can only give small. Every bit helps as this will a long process to come. Julie is staying at the hospital night and day to be able to take part in each visit. So currently, she is not at the school working. Thanks in advance and please enjoy some of the cute pictures I've taken of this wonderful family! -Melissa
